A storm blew through just before the show. We decided that the best option was to watch the airshow from the truck so we found someone who was offering parking and viewing on his side yard and we watched the show from there.
Losing an aileron appears to be a part of this guy's act (he did it in Trenton too), but personally, I think it is unsafe and unnecessary.
Having the left wingtip touch the ground is also a bit unsafe I would think. This photo was taken just as the pilot "recovered".
Maximum performance Take Off
A whisp of vapor trails coming off the Leading Edge Extensions (LEXs).
Low speed "High Alpha" pass.
Believe it or not, there are four Harvards in this shot. (Look very carefully behind flight lead.)
